As part of working on our first theme, I knew it was the small details that make a theme feel fresh and modern. One of the easiest but often overlooked details is the hover effect on links.

Since Claude is my best friend in the whole world and I run everything by him, I asked Claude to recommend some alternatives. Some of them were wacky, and in the end, for the first theme I went with a simple color hover with a subtle animation.
